Mahendra Dhoni says India will not take South Africa lightly when they meet for a place in the World Twenty20 semi-finals on Tuesday.

Both sides have a chance of progressing to the last four, although India are in the stronger position.

The requirements for each team depend on the outcome of the Australia-Pakistan game (11:00 BST) in Colombo.

“South Africa are a really good side, they’ve got the balance, they’ve got the talent,” said India captain Dhoni.

If Australia beat Pakistan then a win over South Africa will be enough to send India through.
