The X Factor judge and F1 star were rumoured to have split following pictures of Nicole in an LA club appearing to be snogging Chris Brown.
But Nicole, 34, has now quashed these rumours, insisting they are happier than ever and she is missing her man a lot.
Speaking on ITV1’s Lorraine, when questioned on their relationship, she said: ‘Me and my lovely man are lovely, that’s what’s going on…Yeah, we’re great.’
Nicole’s X Factor schedule, which sees her mentoring the Boys’ category, means she will have to spend the vast majority of her time until in the UK until Christmas while Lewis concentrates on his F1 duties around the world.
But as well as finally putting an end to the gossip they’ve split, Nicole admitted she’s struggling with the long distance, although Lewis has made plans to travel to see her in the UK once the Korea Grand Prix is done.
‘Everything’s good and I wish that I could be with him this week and for Japan – I’m used to going to those races with him there.
‘I think after Korea he will come back and stay with me. So he’s actually going to try and be with me as much as possible, so that will be lovely,’ she added.
Nicole was joined on the sofa by her three boys – James Arthur, Rylan Clark and Jahmene Douglas – who will be taking to the stage and hoping to impress in this Saturday’s first X Factor live show.
Meanwhile, when the foursome appeared on Daybreak this morning, presenter Aled Jones had a piece of advice for nervous performer Jahmene, suggesting curling his toes will do the trick.
Aled said: ‘I gave you a top tip in make-up as well, I told him to wiggle his toes in his shoes when he’s singing because it takes your mind off being nervous.
‘You stand there, and you wiggle your toes and you don’t think about being nervous. If your performance goes well on Saturday then I’ll take the credit for it. If it’s rubbish, it’s not my fault.
But Nicole didn’t seem too keen on this idea, adding: ‘Everyone’s going to be looking at his toes now.’
